Grants Awarded:

Aquidneck Elementary School

Character Education for All Students- Red Grammar Concert – teaches character education to Grades Pre-K -3.

Outdoor Learning Space – created an outdoor learning garden with a sculpture by Mike Higgins.

J.H. Gaudet Middle School and Learning Academy

Aubrey Atwater Donnelly Trio- performance of folk music from Colonial and Early American History.

Middletown High School

Choral Clinic-funds an accompanist and college choral director to technique and musicianship.

Portable Zoom Recorder H2- hand-held portable stereo recorder to be used for all music classes.

Harvard Model UN- assist with expenses incurred to attend the HMUN conference in Boston.

Keep on Dancing- funding for a professional Latin Dance instructor to teach salsa dancing to approximately 100 students at MHS.

Building Architectural Sculptures- This grant will allow students in the three dimensional design classes at MHS to learn from the talented artist, florist, and architectural designer, Alan Sorrentino.
